What is oolong in China has been known for about 300-400 years. According to one legend, it was accidentally invented by a hunter named Black Dragon, who had dark skin. The man was picking tea leaves high in the mountains, saw a deer and chased after it. He got carried away with the hunt, forgot about the picked leaves and came back for them only on the second day. During this time they had time to oxidize. The hunter dried the raw material, brewed the tea and got a previously unknown flavor of the drink.
