Oolong
- Oolong, also known as oolong or turquoise, holds a special place in tea culture because it is intermediate between green and black. Oolong tea is a beverage that is only made in China. It is distinguished from other types by its moderate degree of fermentation, from 40% to 50%.
- Thanks to selected raw materials and special processing, it retains a high concentration of useful substances. Light, light, lightly fermented varieties give a feeling of lightness, harmonize, relieve tension and fatigue. Dark, with a higher caffeine content, excellently invigorate. In addition, oolong tea is a treasure trove of rejuvenating antioxidants and essential oils.
- It gets its name from a legend in which the Goddess of Mercy gave a poor farmer a tea sprout. He planted it in his garden and grew the best tea from it. The word “iron” in the name indicates that this tea rolls into tight balls, and when it is dropped into the teapot, you will hear a sound similar to the sound of small pieces of iron falling.
Brewing Tips:

Try to brew white tea with water not exceeding 90-95 degrees. This will allow you to preserve the maximum of useful substances in the leaves and buds. Turn off the kettle before the water reaches boiling point. If you have already brought it to one hundred degrees, let it cool down a bit. -
For brewing, choose clean filtered water. For this purpose, you can take quality bottled water or purify it yourself, if your home filter allows you to achieve a good result. It is not recommended to take purchased mineral or highly mineralized spring water - such water distorts the taste of tea.
