Lapsang Souchong is a Chinese smoked red tea. It is produced using the yang xun (smoke smoking) technique. After stewing on pine wood, the tea acquires a resinous and smoky flavor. The color of the infusion ranges from ruby red to amber depending on the brewing method and time.
