White tea
- White tea is tea made from the buds and youngest shoots of the tea bush (Camellia sinensis). The name comes from the fine silvery-white hairs on the unopened buds of the plant, which give the buds a silvery-white color. The brewed tea itself, despite its name, has a pale yellow color.
- The main difference between white tea and all other teas is the most careful processing of raw materials. This tea is not subjected to fermentation, but only dried under conditions close to natural conditions.
- When brewed, white tea yields a delicate yellow, clear honey (also called peach) infusion. It feels like a refined beverage with a subtle flavor aroma that varies depending on the variety and ageing of the tea. The flavor is dominated by herbal and floral notes with fruity and honey tones.
Brewing Tips:

Try to brew white tea with water not exceeding 80 degrees (60-70 degrees is better). This will allow you to preserve the maximum of useful substances in the leaves and buds. Turn off the kettle before the water reaches boiling point. If you have already brought it to one hundred degrees, let it cool down a bit. -
For brewing, choose clean filtered water. For this purpose, you can take quality bottled water or purify it yourself, if your home filter allows you to achieve a good result. It is not recommended to take purchased mineral or highly mineralized spring water - such water distorts the taste of tea.
